Your journey to the Golden Visa

1. Legal and Fiscal Advice and Preparation of your paperwork:

Once we are instructed, our legal team and fiscal advisors will contact you to discuss which Golden Visa investment suits you best and we will navigate you to determine which Golden Visa investment suits you best.

2. Bank account opening and Tax ID (NIF) guidance and Support

Our team can also help you in the opening of a bank account, in a bank of your choice while we concurrently work hard to get a Tax Identification number / NIF (Número de identificação fiscal) allocated to you.

3. Invest and submit Golden Visa application

After your legal and tax documentation is ready, we will give you the Green light to proceed with your investment and soon thereafter we submit your Golden Visa application.

4. Interview with the Portuguese Immigration & Borders Service - SEF

Once your Golden Visa application is submitted with all relevant documents, you will have to physically attend an interview with the Immigration and Borders Service (Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras / SEF) in Portugal. The SEF team will also carry out a biometric test to ensure the documents submitted match with your ID. This stage generally takes about 3 months after the application is submitted.

5. Receive your Golden Visa

On completion of your interview with the Portuguese authorities (SEF), you will be in the final stage of your journey. It generally takes about 5 – 6 months for the authorities to review all the information and notify us that you Golden Visa is ready.
